The entry-level smartphone is priced in India at Rs 4,299. It will be available in all major retail stores and e-commerce platforms (including Amazon, Paytm, Shopclues and Snapdeal).

The M-tech Eros Plus features a 5.0-inch LCD display with FVWGA resolution (480 x 854 pixels). It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. The 8GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 64GB).

On the camera front, the new smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA (Video Graphics Array) front-facing camera. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery that offers 240 hours of standby time and 7.5 hours of talk time.

The M-tech Eros Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes in Rose Gold, Gold and Grey color options. Additional features of the device include MP3/MP4/3GP player and FM radio.

Conclusion

At its price-point, the new M-tech Eros Plus smartphone will compete against the likes of Intex Aqua Star 4G, InFocus M370, Xolo Era 4G and Lenovo A2010. The company is touting the combination stylish design, high performance, and an affordable price in the new handset.

Previously, the M-tech has launched G24 feature phone at Rs 899. It features a 1.8-inch QQVGA display and dual digital camera (on the back and front). The M-tech G24 features a 16GB internal storage (expandable). The 100mAh battery on the device offers 7 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time. The new handset supports in five regional languages including English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Bengali. Other features include like MP3/MP4/WAV player, wireless FM radio, Bluetooth, audio/video recording, auto call record and torch.
