Micromax has expanded its Canvas series of smartphones with the launch of Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+. As per an established retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the phone is available to buy from offline stores across the country. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it features a 6-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels resolution.
The Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ houses 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage via microSD card. On the camera front, it sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. Equipped with a 3000mAh battery, the dual SIM phone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options.

Micromax also launched its Vdeo 5 smartphone in February 2017. It comes with 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. Other specifications include 5.5-inch HD IPS display (1280×720 pixels resolution), 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card) and 3000mAh battery. The device sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
