Micromax has launched two new smartphone in the Canvas series, called the Micromax Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas Mega 4G Q417. As for specifications, both smartphones feature 5.5-inch HD displays with 1280×720 pixels resolution and run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Both dual SIM devices sport a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

Price & Availability

The Micromax Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas 4G Q417 are priced at Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 10,999 respectively.

At this price point, these smartphones will compete with the likes of Coolpad Note 3, Lenovo K3 Note and Yu Yureka Plus which are priced under Rs. 10,000.

Micromax also launched its flagship smartphone Canvas 5 for Rs. 11,999. Specifications of the handset include 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with Mali-T720, Android Lollipop operating system, 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels resolution, 423ppi pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3) display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera with PDAF, 5 mega pixelfront facing camera with flash and 2900mAh battery.
