The Motorola Edge+ is priced in India at Rs 74,999. It will be available for purchase from May 26 via Flipkart and major offline retail stores.

In the US, the Motorola Edge+ was launched at $999 (approx Rs 76,400). It comes in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey color options.

The new smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage (non-expandable).

The Motorola Edge+ is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

Cameras

On the back, the camera set up features an optically stabilized 108MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-micron pixel size). It allows you to capture 6K videos at 30fps.

Additionally, the camera module uses a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 117-degree field of view), an 8MP telephoto lens (OIS, 3x optical zoom), and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the Motorola Edge+ comes equipped with a 25-megapixel front camera (f/2.0, 0.9-micron pixel size).

The Motorola Edge+ runs the stock Android 10 operating system. It is touted to be upgradable to Android 12.

Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS.

The single-SIM smartphone also comes with a My UX hub in the Moto app. You can customize fonts, colors, icon shapes, and fingerprint sensor animations. The custom theme reflects even inside the notification drawer.

Motorola Edge+

The Motorola Edge+ also features Waves-tuned dual stereo speakers. The company claims that the Waves MaxxAudio Mobile suite will provide superior audio output.

Sensors on the device include an in-display fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, sensor hub, and barometer.

Design and Display

The flagship smartphone sports a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification.

Motorola has added several features to the near 90-degree curve. It shows battery charging status and notifications for incoming calls, messages, and alarms.

You swipe up or down on the edge to check notifications or quickly switch apps. The curved edge also shows two customizable buttons at the top and bottom for gaming in landscape mode.
