According to recent leaks and reports, HMD Global is currently testing the upcoming smartphone. It is tipped to come with 5G support.

The Nokia 9.1 PureView is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It is also expected to come with improved camera features such as low-light and video performance.

The Nokia 9 PureView sports five rear cameras with Zeiss certified lenses. This includes two RGB sensors (12-megapixel, f/1.82 aperture) and three monochrome sensors (12-megapixel, f/1.82 aperture). The handset combines images from all five cameras to create a single image.

The new camera system has been developed in partnership with Light. HMD Global has also partnered with Qualcomm and Google to optimize the camera system and Google’s Photos app. For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports a 20-megapixel front camera

The Nokia 9 PureView runs Android 9 Pie operating system. It comes with next-generation Pro Camera user-interface that allows you to control the Penta-lens setup. You can also take native monochrome shots.

The handset sports a 5.99-inch POLED display with Quad-HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 3,320mAh battery comes with wireless charging support.

The new handset comes with IP67 certification (water and dust resistance) and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is no 3.5mm audio jack though.
