The OnePlus 7 series will be launched in India on 14th May. Pre-booking for the handset have already started. It is said to be priced at Rs 49,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant is said to come with a price tag of Rs 52,999. Whereas the high-end model (with 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage) is said to cost Rs 57,999.

Interested customers can already reserve the OnePlus 7 Pro via Amazon.in. You will need to purchase an e-gift card of value Rs 1,000 which can be redeemed during the purchase of the device. Pre-booking customers will get additional benefits like an accidental screen replacement (worth Rs 15,000).

Customers will be able to pre-book the OnePlus 7 Pro via offline channels (OnePlus Store, Croma, and Reliance stores) from 8th May. You will have to pay Rs 2,000 (redeemable on the device purchase).

The upcoming smartphone is tipped to come in three variants – OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. The new teasers of the device hint at a ‘fast’ and ‘smooth’ device.

As per recent leaks and rumors, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It will come in two RAM/ internal storage variants – 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage and 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage.

The OnePlus 7 may sport a dual camera set up on the back (with a 48-megapixel primary sensor). It is tipped to measure 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.1mm. While the power button is placed on the left edge, the volume buttons are on the right edge of the phone. The bottom end houses the speaker grille and the USB Type-C v3.1 port.

The handset is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 91.5 percent screen-to-body-ratio and a waterdrop-shaped notch. Additionally, it is likely to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor and run Android 9 Pie operating system with OxygenOS on top.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is said to come with a 6.67-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30W fast charging technology.

In terms of optics, the upcoming handset will feature a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup (48MP + 20MP + 5MP) on the back. One of the cameras will have support for 3x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. However, there no time of flight (ToF) sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the smartphone will sport a 16MP pop-up front camera. It will come in Mirror Grey, Nebula Blue, and Almond color options.

Recently, OnePlus launched a McLaren Edition of its latest flagship killer. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with a price tag of Rs 50,999. It features a carbon fiber pattern below the glass on the rear panel, McLaren logo, and the signature McLaren Papaya Orange color placed on the bottom.

The new smartphone sports a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340pixels ) resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, sRGB (100.63 percent), DCI-P3 color gamuts, and a peak brightness of over 600 nits. The new handset sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor (f/1.7 aperture and 1.22-micron pixels) with a secondary 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor (f/1.7 aperture and1-micron pixels). Camera features include 4K video recording at 60fps, Super Slow Motion Video (1080p at 240fps and 720p at 480fps), OIS (optical image stabilization), EIS (electronic image stabilization), and a dual-LED flash.

The 16-megapixel front camera comes with a Sony IMX371 sensor (f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels), EIS, and full HD (1080p) video recording at 30fps. Additionally, the Face Unlock feature is capable of unlocking the smartphone in 0.4 seconds. A new Nightscene feature allows you to capture brighter images in low-light situations with reduced noise. It uses a new HDR algorithm over a 2-second exposure and splices together up to 10 multi-frame shots.
