The Oppo A53 was recently announced in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 2,499,000 (approx Rs 12,700).
Now, the new handset is available in India at Rs 12,990 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 15,490.
The Oppo A53 2020 comes in Electric Black, Fairy White, and Fancy Blue color options. It will initially be available via Flipkart.
Additionally, the company has launched a 10,000mAh Power Bank 2 that supports 18W fast charging. It is priced at Rs 1,299.

The Oppo A53 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor and 4GB/ 6GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the handset sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor with two 2-megapixel sensors.
For selfies and video calling, the Oppo A53 2020 features a 16MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture (housed in a hole-punch cutout). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The Oppo A53 2020 runs the Android 10 operating system with ColorOS 7.2 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The 6.5-inch display comes with HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back.
