The Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor along with Mali-G68 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The new handset is backed by a 4,300mAh battery with 210W wired fast charging support and three 100W fast charging chips. It is said to be fully charged in just less than 10 minutes.
On the back, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition sports a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor (OIS, f/1.65), an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (a 119-degree FoV), and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it features a 16MP front camera.

The Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM (Nano) measures 162.9 x 76 x 8.98mm and weighs 207.5 grams. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic distance sensor.
The 6.67-inch OLED display comes with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 900 nits of peak brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
