The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is priced at EUR 179 (approx Rs 14,000) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant.
The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage models cost EUR 199 (approx Rs 15,600) and EUR 249 (approx Rs 19,600), respectively.
Sales start in France from November 13. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was launched in India with a price starting at Rs 9,999 (for the base 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant).

The new smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor along with Adreno 610 GPU and up to 4GB RAM.
The internal storage can be further expandable via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The 4,000mAh battery comes with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support.
Cameras
On the back, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor (f/1.79 aperture, six-piece lens).
Additionally, the camera setup uses an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (120-degree of Field-of-view), a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
For selfies and video calling, new handset sports a 13MP front camera. Camera features include AI Beautify, AI portrait selfies, AI scene detection, AI face unlock, and Palm Shutter.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T runs the Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.3-inch in-cell LCD display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 88.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, 84 percent NTSC color gamut, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The display panel comes with a waterdrop-style notch. Xiaomi has also added features such as Sunlight Mode, Night Mode, and Reading Mode.
The new handset is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back. It comes in Starscape Blue, Moonlight White, and Moonshadow Grey color options.
Sensors on the device include a fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared (IR) blaster, and proximity sensor.
