The Redmi Y3 is priced in India at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999. It will be available from April 30 via Amazon India, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.

The Redmi Y3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor along with 3GB/ 4GB RAM. The 32GB/ 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB) with its own dedicated card slot.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture, 1.25-micron pixel size) with a 2-megapixel depth-sensing sensor and a dual-LED flash module. Camera features include phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).

For selfies and video calling, the Redmi Y3 sports a 32-megapixel front camera. It comes with features like EIS, auto HDR, and an AI portrait mode. The Redmi Y3 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
