Samsung usually gives such codenames to its devices which are under development. The codename defines the gadget’s characteristics. The S9 series was named “STAR”, meanwhile the S8 series was named “Dream”. The “Beyond” codename indicates that Samsung could be working on a smartphone which hasn’t ever been introduced in the market.
