The smartphone model is an upgraded version of the Galaxy M21 (launched last year). It comes with triple rear cameras and a 6,000mAh battery.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor along with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor (Samsung’s ISOCELL GM2), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor.

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 20MP front camera sensor. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 512GB).

The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition runs on Android 11 OS with a One UI Core 3.1 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition is priced in India at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 14,499.

The new smartphone comes in Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black color options. Sales will start on July 26 (as a part of the Prime Day sale) via Amazon, Samsung.com, and select retail stores.

You can receive a 10 percent instant discount on purchases made via HDFC Bank on Amazon. There is also a Rs 1,000 cashback on ICICI Bank debit and credit cards purchases through Samsung.com and offline retailers.

The original Samsung Galaxy M21 was launched in March last year. It came with a starting price of Rs 13,499 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant.
