The Tecno Camon 17 is priced in India at Rs 12,999. It will be available in three color options – Frost Silver, Spruce Green, and Magnet Black.

The Tecno Camon 17 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999. It comes in a single Arctic Down color option. Both smartphones will go on sale from July 26 (the beginning of the Amazon Prime Day sale).

The new handsets feature a hole-punch display. While the Tecno Camon 17 sports a 16MP selfie camera, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro comes with a 48MP selfie camera.

Both the Tecno Camon 17 Pro and Tecno Camon 17 sports a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.

The 6.8-inch IPS display comes with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) resolution, 500 nits of peak brightness, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio.

The new handsets run the Android 11 operating system with HiOS v7.6 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS, and Bluetooth v5.

The Tecno Camon 17 is powered by a Helio G85 SoC. Whereas the Pro model comes with an Helio G95 SoC. Let’s take a closer look:

The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and 6GB RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be further expanded through a micro SD card (up to 256GB).

In terms of optics, the Tecno Camon 17 sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It uses a 64-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) and three 2-megapixel sensors.

For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 16-megapixel front camera (f/2.2 aperture). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
