The Samsung Galaxy A31 was launched in India at Rs 21,999. Earlier this year, the company has announced multiple price cuts.

Now, Samsung has further reduced the price of the Galaxy A31 by Rs 2,000. It is now available in the country at Rs 17,999.

The mid-range smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 512GB).

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A31 sports a quad-camera setup on the back. It uses a 48MP primary sensor (f/2.0), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), a 5MP macro sensor (f/2.4), and a 5MP depth sensor (f/2.4).

For selfies and video calling, the new handset features a 20MP front camera (f/2.2). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 runs the Android 10 operating system. It comes with the Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, and Samsung Knox features.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.

The new smartphone sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 also comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It measures 159.3 x 73.1 x 8.6mm and weighs 185 grams.

The new handset comes in four color options – Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush White.

The Samsung Galaxy A30 was launched in India at Rs 16,990. It is now available with a price tag of Rs 15,490.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9610 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A30 sports a dual-camera setup on the back. It uses a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture).

For selfies and video calling, the handset sports a 16-megapixel front camera with a fixed-focus f/2.2 lens. The 4,000mAh battery supports 15W fast charging tech.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution.

Additional highlights include the Face Unlock feature, fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.
