Samsung Galaxy View Tablet Specifications & Images Leaked

Samsung is reportedly working on a new tablet, called the Samsung Galaxy View. The device was spotted listed on US online retailer’s website named Adorama revealing specifications and images. The page, however has now been taken down.

As per the listing, the Galaxy View tablet will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7580 processor clocked at 1.6GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and feature an 18.4-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 119ppi pixel density.

Other rumored specifications of the device include 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), 2.1 mega pixel secondary camera on the front and 5700mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The listing also noted that the Galaxy View tablet will offer portable, touchable TV experience.

We expect the tablet to be launched in the coming days since Samsung announced at the IFA 2015 that the tablet will be unveiled in October 2015. It is said to be priced at USD 599 (approximately Rs. 39,000) for US markets.

Looking at the spec-sheet, the Galaxy View looks like a powerful tablet. It features latest technology, full HD display, massive battery and 4G LTE support. The images of the tablet also reveal that it will come with an adjustable stand on the rear for use in stand mode.
