Samsung has finally taken the wraps off its Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets with 8-inch and 9.7-inch display sizes. With just 5.6mm thickness, both Galaxy Tab S2 tablets are touted as thinnest and lightest tablets of the size and are thinner than Apple iPad Air 2. Both tablets also come with inbuilt touch enabled fingerprint scanner.

Both devices share some specifications in common. The Galaxy Tab S2 tablets are powered by an octa-core Exynos 5433 processor (quad-core 1.9GHz plus quad-core 1.3GHz) paired with 3GB of RAM and run Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Other common specs of the tablets include 8 mega pixel rear camera and 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera.

Samsung has launched its latest tablet- Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V in India. The tablet is now listed on company’s India eStore.

As far as specifications of the tablet are concerned, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system wrapped under TouchWiz, it flaunts a 7-inch WSVGA LCD display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. The device sports a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear but misses out on front facing camera. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. Backed up by a 3600mAh battery, it measures 193.4×116.4×9.7 mm in dimensions and weighs 322 grams.

An image of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone S6 Plus has surfaced online. Leakster OnLeaks has posted an image of of a smartphone which is said to be the Galaxy S6 Plus phone. As per the leaked image, the handset will be a bigger and sleeker variant of Galaxy S6 Edge. It is also said to feature 5.5-inch display and measure 154.45×75.80×6.85 mm in dimensions. The smartphone will retain dual edged display like the Galaxy S6 Edge.

As per the previous leaks, Galaxy S6 Plus is rumored to pack hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Samsung has launched its two new voice calling tablets- 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A and 9.6-inch Galaxy Tab E in the Indian market. As for specifications, the Galaxy Tab A is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features an 8-inch XGA display with 1024×768 pixels resolution.

Other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A include 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), 5 mega pixel rear camera, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 4200mAh battery.

Samsung has launched a new tablet, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab E in Taiwan. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 9.6-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

There is 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 5000mAh battery, the device measures 241.9 x 149.5 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 490 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. On design front, the tablet comes with faux leather finish at the back.

Samsung has finally announced the launch of Galaxy S6 Active. Priced at $199, the handset will be available starting June 12 in the US, exclusively in partnership with AT&T with 2-year contract. There is no word on the global launch of the phone as of now.

As for specifications, the S6 Active packs nearly similar specs as the original Galaxy S6. The former handset though is shock proof (rugged), dust and water resistance. It also packs larger battery with capacity of 3500mAh and features wireless charging technology. There is also an Activity Zone button, so that users can access compass, flashlight, stop watch and more quickly.

Samsung has launched its Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the handset is now listed on company’s e-store in White, Grey and Silver color options, however the availability status still says that the product is ‘Not in stock’. It is also available to buy from e-commerce website Shopping.Indiatimes for a price as low as Rs.9,750.

A Mumbai base retailer revealed last week that the handset is on sale for Rs. 9,999 bundled with several offers such as 3GB of 4G free data to Airtel customers, free Hungama premium offer (for 3 month) and free Vuclip prime offer (for 3 months).
