ZTE has taken the wraps off its two new ‘Blade series’ smartphones at MWC 2017. Called the ZTE Blade V8 Mini and Blade V8 Lite, both are mid-ranged smartphones. Both phones feature metal body with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The V8 Mini comes with dual rear cameras- 13 mega pixel primary camera and a 2 mega pixel secondary camera. On the front, both devices sport a 5 mega pixel selfie camera.
Panasonic has launched its latest rugged 2-in-1 laptop- Panasonic Toughbook CF-33, at MWC 2017. The device comes in two variants- one with tablet and keyboard while other one is the tablet only model. The Toughbook CF-33 is IP65 certified for resistance against water and dust and has been designed for use in harsh environment conditions like bright sunlight or heavy rain. The device comes with an IP55 digitizer pen that lets users write, draw and sign with accuracy.
Huawei has launched its Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic smartwatches at MWC 2017. On the software front, both smartwatches run Android Wear 2.0. The Watch 2 has a sporty look with rubber straps and stainless steel back while the Watch 2 Classic comes with stainless steel bezels and leather straps. Both wearables feature heart rate sensor and provide real time heart rate information to the users.
At MWC 2017, Huawei has taken the wraps off its two new smartphones- Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. Like predecessors P9 and P9 Plus, the P10 duo comes with Leica-developed dual rear cameras. On aesthetics front, the devices feature ‘Hyper Diamond-cut’ finish that makes the phones non-slippery and prevents fingerprints and scratches.
Gionee has unveiled its ‘A series’ of smartphones with the launch of Gionee A1 and A1 Plus at MWC 2017. Both smartphones are selfie-oriented and also offer long battery life. The Gionee A1 sports a 13 mega pixel front camera and 4010mAh battery while the Plus variant comes with a 20 mega pixel selfie camera and 4550mAh battery. Both smartphones also support Ultrafast charging which the company claims to fully charge the phones in just 2 hours.
Sony has unveiled its latest smartphones at MWC 2017- Sony Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZs. As the name suggests, the XA1 and XA1 Ultra succeed the Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra which were launched in India in May 2016. The XZ Premium is a high-end variant of the Xperia XZ while XZs is its toned down variant.
At MWC 2017, LG has taken the wraps off its latest flagship smartphone, called the LG G6. The main highlight of the phone is that it is the first non-Pixel smartphone to come with Google Assistant. Another talking point is that the phone features not just one, but two rear cameras. It sports two 13 mega pixel sensors on the back.
