The Tecno Pop 8 is priced in India at Rs 6,499. It will be available from January 9 via Amazon. As a special offer, the new handset will be available at Rs 5,999 (inclusive of bank offers) for a limited period.

The new smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor along with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and an additional 4GB virtual RAM. The 64GB UFS2.2 storage can be further expanded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Tecno Pop 8 sports an AI-assisted dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.85 aperture) and a dual LED flash unit.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset features an 8-megapixel front camera with a dual LED micro slit flashlight. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.

The Tecno Pop 8 runs Android 13 Go Edition with HiOS 13 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, DTS-backed stereo speakers, and an IPX2 rating for splash resistance.
The Tecno Pop 8 sports a 6.56-inch Dot-In display with HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a Panda Glass protection.
Additionally, the company has added a Dynamic Port feature (similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island) that offers quick notifications.
