Price and Availability

The Vivo iQoo 5G will be the company’s first commercial 5G phone. It is set to be launched in the third quarter of this year. As of now, there is no information about its price tag.

The original iQoo that was unveiled back in March at CNY 2,998 (approx Rs 31,700) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage costs CNY 3,298 (approx Rs 34,900), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 3,598 (approx Rs 38,100). A high-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4,298 (approx Rs 45,500).

The Vivo Qioo 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It will be accompanied by a Snapdragon X50 modem. The upcoming handset is likely to feature Vivo’s new Super FlashCharge 120W technology (designed to support 20V and 6A).

The company also revealed various 5G applications such as the 5G Cloud Game, 5G Screen Mirroring, and 5G EasyShare. Vivo claims that the 5G Cloud Game will high-quality gaming experience directly from the cloud via the 5G network.

Vivo also claims that the Super FlashCharge 120W will help you to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in merely 13 minutes. It uses a new charge pump technology with a customizable USB Type-C data cable and travel charger.

Vivo AR GlassesThe Vivo AR Glass are based on 6DoF (Six Degrees of Freedom) technology and sport dual displays. The glasses will be able to work with your smartphone directly.

“Once the Vivo AR Glass projects the content, the 5G smartphone will then act as the control that allows the user to switch and select applications,” Vivo said in a press statement.

Additionally, the Vivo iQoo Neo has been spotted on the company’s Chinese website. It would be available in Black (with carbon textured back) and Purple (gradient finish) color options.

The upcoming handset will feature triple rear cameras and setup and a pop-up selfie camera. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

The Vivo iQoo runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS 9 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. The 4,000mAh battery supports Vivo’s Super Flash Charge technology.

In terms of optics, the Vivo iQoo sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) with 13-megapixel Sony IMX263 sensor (wide-angle lens) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the handset sport s 12-megapixel front camera.

The gaming smartphone features a 3D glass build with an LED strip at the back. Additionally, the top-end variant comes with a faux-carbon fiber back (protected by a curved glass panel). It measures 157.69 x 75.2 x 8.51mm. iQoo branding is placed on the back.

The 6.41-inch AMOLED display comes with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.7 percent of screen-to-body ratio, and a waterdrop-shaped notch. The handset also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
