Vivo iQoo 3 Now Available In India At Rs 34,990 – All You Need To Know

The Vivo iQoo 3 was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 36,990. It is now priced at Rs 34,990 for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.

The 8GBRAM/ 256GB storage model now comes with a price tag of Rs 37,990 (down from Rs 39,990).

The price of the 5G variant (with 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage) remains unchanged. It was launched at Rs 44,990.

“In cognizance of the difficult circumstance we are all going through due to the global health pandemic, we understand that affordability will be a key concern for consumers going forward,” said Gagan Arora, Director of Marketing, iQoo India.

“In order to continue with our proposition of offering best-in-class features with 5G capabilities at an affordable price point, we have decided to refresh our pricing, making the iQoo the most cost-effective 5G enabled device in India,” he added.

The new prices will be available on both Flipkart and iqoo.com. Sales will start as soon as the e-retailers are allowed to start the delivery.

The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (with 5G modem), up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The Vivo iQoo 3 is backed by a 4,440 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. Users will be able to get up to a 50% charge in just 15 minutes.

The company has also added Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling technology. It is said to bring down the CPU temperature by 12-degree celsius.

Cameras

On the back, the new smartphone sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor (f/1.79 aperture), a 13MP telephoto lens (f/2.46, 20x digital zoom), a 13MP wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 120-degree FoV), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).

On the front, the Vivo iQoo 3 features a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. It supports 4K video capture.

The Vivo iQoo 3 runs the Android 10 operating system with iQoo UI on top. It will be one of the first smartphones to receive Android 11 OS and receive regular security and OTA updates for 3 years.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, and USB Type-C 2.0.

The handset sports a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display comes with a Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 800-1200 nits of peak brightness, and a pixel density of 409ppi.

The HDR10+ enabled screen also comes with 91.40 percent screen-to-body ratio, Schott Xensation UP protective layer, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo iQoo 3 measures 158.51 x 74.88 x 9.16mm and weighs 214.5 grams. It comes in in Tornado Black, Quantum Silver, and Volcano Earth color options.

Additionally, the new handset comes with an Ultra Game Mode. The company has also added touch-sensitive buttons called Monster Touch buttons.

Sensors on the Vivo iQoo 3 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
