Xiaomi Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition Launched: Price, Specs & Features

Xiaomi has unveiled special edition of its Mi Note smartphone dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition. The handset as the name suggests, features natural bamboo back panel which is also the highlight of the device. The Bamboo Edition is 0.9 mm thick and 5 grams lighter than the original Xiaomi Mi Note. To remind you, the original Mi Note comes with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on front and rear panels with metal frame. Read on to find more information on specifications, features, price and availability of the handset.

As for specifications, the dual-SIM Mi Note special Edition comes with same specs as that of standard Mi Note. It packs a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz accompanied with 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It flaunts a 5.7 inch JDI full-HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and pixel density of 386 ppi.

On camera front, there is a 13 mega pixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, Philips two-tone flash and six-element lens, OIS and Sony CMOS sensor. The handset also features a 4 mega pixel front facing camera with 2-micron pixels. Based on storage, it comes in two variants- 16 GB and 64 GB. It packs a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0. Besides usual set of connectivity options, it supports 4G connectivity as well.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 23,000). It will go on sale in China starting 24 March 2015. Registrations are now open in China and potential buyers can register themselves for the first sale. There is no word on pricing an availability details of the handset outside China.
