It is widely being reported around the internet that a Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 leak occurred last night on 26th April 2018. The Chinese company launched its Mi 6X in China recently with success. Now, this leak proves that the company is on its way to the launch of its successor to the Mi Pad 3.

During 2017, it was speculated and widely reported that Xiaomi is working on a new tablet. Images of the alleged upcoming device haven’t surfaced yet. If this Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 leak were to be true, then the company will soon be announcing the upcoming tablet.

According to the firmware files revealed by XDA Developers, the upcoming Mi Pad 4 is going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. It is being speculated that alleged tab will be named Mi Pad 4.

The company hasn’t officially revealed anything yet.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Leak: Rumored Specifications

According to the leak, the tablet’s MIUI configuration claimed it as a pad, confirming it as a tablet. The device’s default screen density is of an extremely low value, as its set to 320. The files show that the device will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery. It is speculated to have an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will sport a narrow bezel screen. The display panel will most probably be LCD.

It has also revealed that the tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset, clocked at 2.0GHz instead of 2.2GHz. Information regarding RAM and storage space of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 hasn’t been revealed yet. The device will most probably come with a microSD card slot for the expansion of the storage.

In the camera department, the tablet is speculated to sport a single camera sensor on the rear. It will probably be a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13855 sensor backed with an aperture of f/2.0. The Mi Pad 4 will also facilitate 4K recording. It won’t support portrait mode.

The leak also reveals that the device will be without an NFC support.

If these leaked firmware files are true, then the company will soon be launching the device in the Chinese market. The catch is that the company doesn’t have any hold in this concerned sector, and it is a question mark if they are going to launch this device so soon.
