Yu Yu5530 With MediaTek Helio X10 Chipset, 4GB RAM Spotted

Micromax’s Yu Televentures is reportedly working on a new smartphone. Codenamed Yu Yu5530, the device has appeared on benchmarking website- GeekBench, revealing its specifications and features.

As per the listing, the Yu5530 will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The listing shows single-core score of the device as 816 and multi-core score as 3059. On software front, it will run Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It is expected to come with Cyanogen OS, although there is no mention of it in the listing.

There is no word on pricing and availability of the Yu Yu5530. Looking at the spec-sheet however, it looks like a mid-ranged smartphone.

Earlier this month, Yu Televentures launched its Yureka Note phablet in India. Specifications of the smartphone include 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It features a 6-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phablet houses 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further using microSD card.

On imaging front, the Yureka Note sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera with dual LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. It is fueled by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charging support and comes with a fingerprint sensor for additional security. It is priced at Rs. 13,499 and competes with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo K4 Note.
