Lenovo is ready to launch its ultra affordable Lenovo A1900 smartphone in China. While the company is yet to make an official announcement, the handset has been spotted listed on a Chinese e-commerce website Alibaba.com. As for specifications, the dual-SIM A1900 packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 SC7730 processor accompanied with Mali-400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. There is a 2 mega pixel primary camera on the handset while it lacks a front facing camera.
On storage front, the handset equips 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 16 GB via microSD card. The Lenovo A1900 packs a 1500 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It measures 121 x 62 x 9.5 mm and weighs 117 grams.

Lenovo also launched its A7000 phone in India for Rs. 8,999 earlier this month. It will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart.com. Specifications of Lenovo A7000 include 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor, 2 GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with VIBE UI, 5.5 inch HD IPS (1280 x 720) display, 8 GB of inbuilt memory, 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2900 mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The Lenovo A1900 is now listed on a Chinese e-commerce website for $46-$52 which translates it roughly to Rs. 2,900-Rs. 3,300. There is no word on availability of the handset in regions outside China.
