The Lenovo A7000 which was showcased at MWC 2015 has finally been launched in India. The 4G-enabled budget smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart.com. Highlight of A7000 is that it is the first phone in the world to feature Dolby Atmos technology. Registrations for the handset are now open till 14th April while the first flash sale will be hosted on 15th April. The Lenovo A7000 in the Indian market, will compete with the 4G enabled Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G phones which also fall in the sub-Rs.10,000 price range. Processor

The Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G both pack Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC’s. The former is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor while the latter comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The Lenovo A7000 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Display

All the three handsets have a tie in this department. Lenovo A7000, Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G feature a 5.5 inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 267 ppi pixel density.

Operating System

The Lenovo A7000 runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under VIBE UI. Redmi Note 4G runs Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI version 5 on its top while the Yu Yureka comes with Cyanogen 11 based Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. Though all the three devices are based on Android platform, yet they are quite different from each other due to different skins.

Camera

Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G sport a 13 mega pixel primary camera.
