The Coolpad Cool Play 7C is priced in China at 699 yuan (approx Rs 7,200) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model costs 799 yuan (approx Rs 8,300). The new handset is now available on pre-order via JD.com. Sales start on September 4. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The budget smartphone comes in two RAM/ internal storage variants – 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB/ 64GB storage.
In terms of optics, the new handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

The Coolpad Cool Play 7C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with a custom UI. The highlight of the device is the Coolpad’s voice assistant which helps users to execute tasks via voice commands. For security, the new handset comes with a face unlock feature and a fingerprint sensor.
The new handset comes in Diamond Black, Aurora Blue, and Ruby Red color options. It also features a dual-curved tempered glass finish. The hue of the base color changes when viewed from different angles.
