At CES 2019, Alcatel has launched two new budget smartphones. Both the Alcatel 1x (2019) and Alcatel 1c (2019) come with FullView displays and run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The Alcatel 1x (2019) is priced at $120 (approx Rs 8,500). It comes in Pebble Blue and Pebble Black color options. Whereas the Alcatel 1c (2019) comes with a price tag of $70 (approx Rs 5,000). It comes in Enamel Blue and Volcano Black color options. Both smartphones will be available in the first quarter of 2019.

The new handset is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). The 3,000mAh battery offers up to 420 hours of standby time on 4G networks.
In terms of optics, the Alcatel 1x (2019) uses a 13-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron) primary sensor and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture, 1.65-micron) secondary sensor. Camera features include bokeh, refocus, panorama, and EIS for video stabilization. For selfies and video calling, it features a 5-megapixel front camera with selfie flash.
