The Amazon Fire TV Cube is touted as the “fastest and most powerful Fire TV Device” from Amazon as yet. It offers up to Ultra-HD HDR streaming and hands-free access to Alexa voice assistant.

The new streaming device combines the capabilities of Amazon’s Fire TV and Echo smart speaker ranges. It supports various HDR formats up to Dolby Vision, as well as Dolby Atmos audio.

You can easily search and navigate content with just your voice from across the room. Simply say “Alexa, switch on the TV” or “Alexa, watch Mirzapur ” and more. Let’s take a closer look:

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is powered by a Hexa-core processor. It will offer instant access to Dolby Vision and 4K Ultra HD content at up to 60 frames per second.

The new streaming media player also supports HDR and HDR 10+. For audio, it comes equipped with Dolby Atmos support.

The streaming device uses multi-directional infrared technology, cloud-based protocols, and HDMI CEC to control your entertainment system including compatible TV, Set-Top Box, A/V receivers, soundbar, A/V receiver, cable, etc.

The Amazon Fire TV Cube also allows you to watch live TV channels with cable or set-top box providers. Additionally, you can access thousands of channels, apps, and Alexa skills.

Additionally, the streaming device lets you dim the lights, check the weather, and control other smart device. You can also listen to the news even with the TV off with the built-in speaker.

Amazon claims that the Alexa service is always getting smarter with new features, device control capabilities, and more. The hands-free voice functionally currently supports enhanced in-app voice controls.

Pricing Rs 12,999

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is priced in India at Rs 12,999. It can be purchased through Amazon.in and select Croma and Reliance outlets.

The smart device comes with an Ethernet adapter, Alexa Voice Remote, and IR extender cable. As an introductory offer, you can also get an HDMI cable (to connect Fire TV Cube) at no extra cost.
