Tech giant Google revealed its Android P mobile operating system during the I/O 2018 developers’ conference. The two constructive important Android P features are AI and machine learning. It has other necessary features like Adaptive Brightness, App Actions, Adaptive Battery etc.
Android P Features:
The OS will come with App Actions. It predicts what task a user needs to do next so that users can be more productive and quick.
The new Adaptive Battery feature will emphasize more on battery power. It will only be for the services and apps which are used the most. This increases the battery life of the smartphone, thereby giving extra juice.
Slices will give users more information regarding the apps they use most. Whatever you search, with pop up with its details and information.
Adaptive Brightness With Machine Learning
This feature will use the smartphone’s learned information to observe how we keep the brightness of the screen in different settings.
Android P will have a new look and feel to its UI. It will be more approachable. It will have a new system navigation. Gestures will be extended to enable navigation right from the home screen.
The single home button will let users swipe to peek at the new Overview design. It will also have uplifted Quick Settings, different way to take screenshots, easier controls, and easier app notification management.
Google also has provided features such as Dashboard. It will let us know how much time we have spent on the phone. App Timer will let us set a time limit on apps. The Do Not Disturb mode will silence phone calls.
Currently, Android P beta version is now available on devices including Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, OnePlus 6 etc.
