Apple has launched multiple new products at the WWDC 2017. The company also unveiled its new OS for various devices. However, the most impressive launch is the new Apple iMac Pro. Apple iMac Pro

The new iMac Pro marks Apple’s return to the PC world. The company has been focusing more on mobile devices for last few years. Apple also announced an upgrade to all its MacBook and iMac models. The company has upgraded all these devices to more efficient and battery-friendly Intel Kaby Lake processors. The entry level iMac models will feature Intel Iris Plus Graphics which is up to 80 percent faster than the previous generation. While the new 21.5-inch iMac Retina 4K will be powered by AMD Radeon Pro 555 and Radeon Pro 560 graphics. Additionally, the RAM on the new iMacs has been doubled when compared to last year’s models. The Fusion drive is now standard on the 27-inch model. While the storage has been bumped up to 2TB. The lowest-priced MacBook Pro and Retina iMac now start at $1,299.

The new Apple iMac Pro prices start at $4,999. However, the base model is capable enough to deal with most of your needs. The powerhouse machine is equipped to handle heavy tasks such as machine learning, VR, real-time 3-D rendering, etc. Shipping starts in December.

The Apple supercomputer is powered by up to 18-core Xeon processors and up to 22 Teraflops of graphics computation. The new iMac Pro will be shipped with the new AMD Radeon Pro Vega GPU with 16GB of HBM2 memory. It supports up to 4TB SSD, 128GB ECC RAM, four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and 10Gb Ethernet. The power packed computer comes with a new thermal cooling system that features two fans. It offers 80 percent more cooling capacity than the regular iMac design.

Features

The space gray all-in-one computer is more of a statement in itself. It features a new keyboard and trackpad too.

Apple iPad Pro

While Apple has replaced last year’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro with the new 10.5-inch one, it has also upgraded the 12.9-inch model.

Last year, Apple unveiled the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Now, it has come out with a new larger model that sports a 10.5-inch screen. The entry models with 64GB internal storage now cost $649 (Rs 41,000 approx.). It will cost you an extra $100 to get 256GB of internal storage. Apple has also added 512GB models which start at $949 (Rs 61,000 approx).

The new iPad Pro is powered by an A10X Fusion chip with a six-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. Apple claims that the new GPU will boost the graphics performance by 40 percent. It also sports a 12-megapixel camera with quad-LED True Tone Flash and f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 7MP FaceTime HD camera onboard. The new iPad Pro supports fast charging.

The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro has a 20 percent larger display than its predecessor. However, by reducing the bezels by 40 percent, Apple has managed to keep the size in check. The tablet weighs around 450grams. It comes with a full-size onscreen keyboard. The True Tone display automatically adjusts the color temperature depending on lighting conditions. Other features include wider P3 color gamut, a low-glare panel, and 600-nit brightness. Camera features include a six-element lens, optical image stabilization (OIS), wide color capture, and 4K video capture. It runs the latest iOS 11 that offers multiple iPad-specific features.
