Alcatel OneTouch Watch Launched In India For Rs. 7,999: Details Inside

Alcatel has launched its smartwatch, called the Alcatel OneTouch Watch in India. It was unveiled at CES 2015 earlier in 2015. It enables users to check notifications such as emails, Whatsapp messages, Facebook and Twitter updates right on their wrist.

It tracks daily activities of the user like steps taken, distance walked, calories burnt, heart rate and sleep quality. Besides tracking daily activities of the user, it also acts as a remote to control music and capture images on synced smartphone. As far as specifications of the OneTouch watch are concerned, it is powered by a STM429 chipset and features 1.22-inch TFT touchscreen display with 240×240 pixels resolution.

Misfit Flash Link, Flash & Shine Fitness Trackers Launched In India, Prices Start At Rs 1,999

After Jawbone’s foray into the Indian market, another wearable maker Misfit has made its debut in the country. Misfit has launched three fitness trackers namely, Misfit Flash Link, Flash and Shine. All three wearables track daily activities, calories burnt and sleep patterns of the user and are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. Moreover, these trackers are resistant to water and do not require charging.

Misfit Flash Link is a clip on device which can be clipped anywhere on your pocket, collar, belt, sock or shoe. It tells users about daily activity progress by tracking distance, calories, sleep quality and duration. It also lets users take selfies and control music on their connected device.

Jawbone Up Series Of Activity Trackers Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs. 4,999

Jawbone has announced the launch of Jawbone UP series of activity trackers in the Indian market. The trackers include- UP Move, UP2 and the UP3. The UP Move is basic tracker powered by MotionX technology and connects with UP platform and Smart coach for tracking user’s activities. The Move also gives summary of daily progress, steps taken, calories burnt as well as sleep of the user. It is claimed to deliver up to six months of battery life.

The UP2 wearable is a sleek and slim activity tracker which gives insight about daily fitness goals. Besides offering the features that UP Move offers, the UP2 also comes with a vibrating motor for Smart Alarm features and personalized reminders. It is good enough to deliver 10 days of battery life.

LG Watch Urbane Luxe 23-Karat Gold Limited Edition Smartwatch Launched

LG has launched a limited 23-karat gold variant of its smartwatch, dubbed the LG Watch Urbane Luxe. The watch has been designed in collaboration with US-based Reeds Jewelers. It is essentially a special gold plated variant of the LG Watch Urbane which was announced at MWC 2015.

The Watch Urbane Luxe features 23-karat gold finishing, a strap made of alligator leather, and is housed in a piano-gloss lacquer case. LG has used 23-karat gold in the smartwatch which is stronger and harder than the 24-karat gold and heavier than 18-karat gold. Rest of the features of Urbane Luxe are same as the LG Watch Urbane.

Motorola Moto 360 Leaked Render Confirms Two Variants

Ahead of its probable launch at IFA event in September 2015 in Berlin, leaked renders of next generation Motorola Moto 360 have surfaced online. As per the recently leaked renders by @evleaks, the Moto 360 will be available in two sizes. The renders show two variants of the wearable- one with metal strap and while other variant features a leather strap.

The leaks also reveal that the physical button has been moved from 3 o’ clock position to 2 o’ clock position. Other features of the next gen Moto 360 include Android 5.1 Lollipop and 360×360 pixels resolution of the display. Rest of the specifications of next generation Moto 360 are scarce as of now and are expected to be announced at the IFA 2015.

Sony has announced its second generation SmartBand- Sony SmartBand 2. Besides the usual functions which most of the fitness trackers perform like notifying about calls, messages and e-mails through vibration and LED lights, it also tracks heart rate, movements, sleep and moments of calm and excitement of the users. The heart rate monitor embedded on device provides users with insights on their health and stress levels.

On a single charge, it is good enough to deliver up to 2 days of battery life. The SnartBand 2 is compatible with Android (running 4.4 KitKat or higher) and iOS (running iOS 8.2 or higher) devices.

Intex iRist Smartwatch Goes On Sale On eBay India For Rs. 11,999: Specs & Features

Intex has launched its first ever smartwatch called the Intex iRist Smartwatch in India. It comes with 3G support enabling users to perform various functions such as making and receiving calls, sending messages and much more right from their wrist. The device also boasts of its water and dust resistant capabilities. On design front, measuring 44x44x14mm in dimensions and weighing 83 grams, it features a square design.

Speaking of specifications, the iRist is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage out of which around 1.3GB is user available.
