LG Watch Urbane Launched In India At Rs. 30,000: Specs & Features

LG has officially launched its Android wear smartwatch Watch Urbane in India at Rs. 30,000. However it is available to buy at a lower price of Rs. 29,990 from Amazon India. Besides premium built and design, it boasts of LG Call and LG Pulse features. The LG Call allows users to access recent calls and favorite contacts list on paired smartphone and dial them directly from the watch. The LG Pulse on the other hand, measures the heart rate of the wearer every second during exercise. Furthermore, at the end of activity, it will report the average of heart rate during the activity as well as display a graph on LG Health which according to the company, is coming soon.

Originally unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February, the LG Watch Urbane has now been launched in India. The smart watch is now available to buy from Amazon India for Rs. 29,990.

To recall, the LG Watch Urbane packs a full circle 1.3 inch (320×320 pixels) P-OLED display and flaunts its premium metallic body design with stitched leather strap. Backed up by a 410 mAh battery, the Urbane is water and dust resistance and is compatible with Android 4.3 running devices and higher. Other specs include 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage and heart rate monitor.

LG has taken the wraps off its first LTE enabled watch dubbed the LG Watch Urbane LTE, which is set to be showcased at MWC 2015 event at Barcelona. The Urbane LTE is essentially the LTE variant of LG Watch Urbane which was introduced earlier this month. This device packs host of attractive features and allows users to make calls and send and receive text messages. It further comes equipped with heart rate monitor and many other features for fitness freaks, cyclists, hikers and golfers. LG Watch Urbane LTE

Under the hood, the Urbane LTE is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz alongside 1 GB of RAM. It features a 1.3 inch P-OLED display with 320 x 320 pixels resolution and 245 ppi pixel density. The watch houses 4 GB of eMMC storage, 700 mAh battery and includes WiFi 802.11 b, g, n, Bluetooth 4.0LE , NFC as connectivity options. It also comes equipped with 9 Axis, Barometer, PPG and GPS sensors and will be available in Silver color option.

This smart device features three physical buttons on the right side for performing various functions. The top button allows users to access Quick setting menu (to check and control check battery usage, brightness, volume and connection). The centre button is for switching between watchface and installed apps while the last or bottom button acts as a back button as well as a safety button. There is an in-built microphone as well as a speaker onboard.
