Samsung has launched two new Chromebooks at CES 2017, called the Samsung Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro. Designed for Google Play, Samsung’s new Chromebooks come with built-in Google Play Store that lets users easily install and use Android apps. Both Chromebooks have a lot of specifications in common. They flaunt their light weight all metal design and feature a hinge that allows 360-degree rotation of the touchscreen.
At CES 2017, ZTE has taken the wraps off its latest smartphone, called the ZTE Blade V8 Pro. The main highlight of the phone is that it comes with dual camera set up at the back. The phone sports two 13 mega pixel sensors on the rear with dual LED flash and PDAF. On the front, there is an 8 mega pixel shooter with flash.
Asus has announced yet another smartphone in its Zenfone series at CES 2017. Called the Asus Zenfone AR, it is the second smartphone in the world after Lenovo Phab 2 Pro to come with Project Tango support. The Zenfone AR aims to combine the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experience together. To put into simple words, it turns the surroundings of the user in virtual reality space.
Asus has expanded its Zenfone 3 series of smartphones with the launch of Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom smartphone at CES 2017. It succeeds the Zenfone Zoom and is targeted at the photography lovers. The main highlight of the phone is that it packs a dual camera set up on the rear. It sports dual 12 mega pixel sensors at the back. One of the sensors has a 25mm wide-angle lens while the other one comes with 56mm lens with 2.3x optical zoom.
Asus has announced its Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA convertible laptop at CES 2017. The convertible packs a 6th generation Intel Core M 6Y30 / 6Y75 processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM. The Chromebook features a 12.5-inch full HD LED backlit multi-touch screen display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
At CES 2017, Acer has taken the wraps off its rugged Acer Chromebook 11 N7. Targeted at education customers, the device comes with durability features. As for specifications, the Chromebook packs a dual-core Intel Celeron processor. It runs Chrome OS and features an 11.6-inch IPS display with 1366×768 pixels.
Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its Honor 6X smartphone at CES 2017. The smartphone was first introduced in China in October 2016. As for specifications, the 6X packs an octa-core Kirin 655 processor paired with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. On the software front, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1.
