The new laptop is powered by up to 10th generation Intel Core i9-10885H/ Xeon W-10855M processor and up to Nvidia Quadro T2000 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 memory.

The Dell Precision 5550 supports up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB M.2 PCIe SSD storage. It also supports fast charging that offers a 35 percent charge in 20 minutes.

Additionally, Dell has added dual fans and heat pipes for heat dissipation. The company claims that the cooling system can keep the components cool, even under heavy workloads.

The new laptop is being touted as the smallest and lightest 15.0-inch mobile workstation in the market. It is said to be six percent smaller than the previous generation.

The Dell Precision 5550 is made from aluminum and carbon fiber. It weighs 1.84kg and features a 92 percent display-to-body ratio.

The 15.6-inch display comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for the HDR400 standard. You can choose from two options – a full-HD+ (1920 x 1200) resolution or a UHD+ (3840 x 2400) resolution with touch input.

The workstation laptop features two Type-C Thunderbolt ports, an SD card slot, and a USB 3.2 (Gen2) Type-C port as connectivity options.
