India’s First Android Based Tablet Designed for Kids ‘Eddy’ Launched By Metis Learning

Metis Learning on 22nd January 2014 launched India’s first Android-based learning tablet for kids. We have a lot of tablets out in the market that too running on Android operating system then what’s there in this tablet to be called designed for kids? Eddy which is the tablet’s common name to be known in the market has been launched with 1024 X 600 pixels IPS display features a 0.3 MP front camera and a 2MP back camera. It has a 3200mAH battery packed in which ensures more than 4 hours of continuous usage time on full charge. Eddy is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM with 8 GB internal storage. Kids learning tablet comes with a sturdy, shock absorbing cover, to reduce the possibility of damage in case of shock. Though it is worth mentioning that it is not water resistant.
