The Fitbit Ace 3 is priced in the US at $99.95 (approx Rs 7,300). It comes in two color options – Black/ Sport Red and Cosmic Blue/ Astro Green.

The Google-owned company also plans to launch two special bands (Despicable Blue and Mischief Black) based on the Minions characters from the ‘Despicable Me’ movie at $29.95 (approx Rs 2,200).

The new fitness band is now available for pre-order via the official Fitbit website. Shipping will start globally from March 15.

The Fitbit Ace 3 features a silicone band and adjustable clasp. It sports a touchscreen PMOLED display. The swim-proof fitness band is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

The new wearable comes with a LiPo battery that is touted to last up to eight days on a single charge. It can be completely charged in almost two hours.

The Fitbit Ace 3 is compatible with both Android (OS 7.0 or higher) and iOS (version 12.2 or higher) devices via the Fitbit app. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2 support.

The new fitness band offers all-day activity tracking that offers shows detailed actions of children to parents. It comes with sleep tracking, bedtime reminders, and silent alarms.

The Fitbit Ace 3 can store seven days of minute-by-minute motion data and daily totals for over 30 days.

To make fitness activities fun for kids, the wearable includes motivating challenges and shows animated clock faces. It also rewards children with virtual badges for fitness achievements.

Fitbit was acquired by Google in January this year. The Fitbit Ace 3 is the first product to be launched after the $2.1-billion acquisition deal.
