GoPro has launched a new version of its famous action camera. The new GoPro HERO6 Black comes with the custom-designed GP1 processor. The company calls it the most powerful GoPro yet with most advanced video stabilization ever achieved in a GoPro. You can now shoot videos in 4K60 and 1080p240 quality. The GoPro HERO6 Black is priced in India at Rs 45,000. It will be available at 499 in the US (approx Rs 32,700). The new action camera is now available via GoPro.com and select retailers across the world.

The GoPro HERO6 Black sports a rugged and waterproof design. It is waterproof up to 10 meters. The new action cam is compatible with Karma drone and existing GoPro mounts.

The GoPro HERO6 Black allows you to shoot 4K videos at 60fps (frames per second) and full-HD (1080p) slow-motion videos at 240fps. It is powered by a GP1 processor that enables twice the video frame rates, improved dynamic range, and low-light performance. GoPro claims that the HERO6 features next-level image quality and video stabilization.

Additionally, the new action camera comes with a Touch Zoom feature and three times faster offload speeds (5GHz Wi-Fi). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The voice control feature on the device works with 10 languages.

It offers three times faster QuikStories performance. The QuikStory feature allows you to automatically transform the footage into videos via HERO6 Black and the GoPro App. The new camera uses computer vision and machine learning to analyze visual scenes and sensor data for improved automated QuikStories.

GoPro Fusion Camera

The waterproof camera can capture immersive 5.2K spherical content with gimbal-like stabilization. You can use the GoPro App to share the recorded footage as VR content. An OverCapture feature allows you to recapture and share spherical shot as a traditional fixed perspective video.

The new GoPro Fusion is priced at $699.99 (approx Rs 45,800). It is now available for pre-order on GoPro.com for the US, Canada, UK, and the EU nations. Shipping starts in November. It comes with bundled Fusion Studio desktop software.

Karma Drone

The company has added two new auto-shot paths Karma Drone – Follow and Watch. Karma can now automatically follow the Karma Controller via GPS. The Watch auto-shot path keeps Karma hovering in place while it rotates. Other updates include an expanded Cable-Cam auto-shot path and Look Up camera tilt capability. Karma owners can unlock the new features via a firmware update.
