HMD The Boring Phone Launched With Dual Screens, 4G Connectivity - All You Need To Know

At the Milan Design Week, HMD showcased The Boring Phone in a pop-up store. The company has teamed up with Heineken and creative firm Bodega for the new device.

The Boring Phone is designed to stop phone addiction. The new handset does not allow access the internet and download social media or other third-party apps.

The new feature phone sports a translucent design and a flip screen form factor (similar to the Nokia 2660 Flip). You can also see the holographic stickers.

The Boring Phone features a 2.8-inch QVGA inner display and a 1.77-inch cover display. It comes pre-loaded with the popular Snake game.

The nostalgic phone can be used to make calls and to send/ receive text messages via 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. You can cut the calls by snapping the cover screen or adding people to your speed dial list.

Additional features on the device include a 0.3-megapixel camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is said to offer up to a week of standby time and up to 20 hours of talk time on a single charge.

Price and Availability

The HMD The Boring Phone is a limited edition run as only 5,000 units of the phone will be made. It will only be available through giveaways. Interested users can sign up on Heineken’s website.
