Huawei’s online only brand Honor launched its budget smartphone Honor Bee in the Indian market last week at Rs. 4,999. It will go on sale starting today exclusively on Flipkart.com . Despite its decent specs and affordable price, it will face stringent competition. Processor & RAM
All the three handsets are powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU however they differ in SoC and clocking speed. The Honor Bee is powered by quad-core Spreadtrum processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Other two handsets are powered by quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz.
Honor Bee and InFocus M2 run rather dated Android 4.4 KitKat operating system wrapped under their respective UI’s. Micromax Canvas Spark runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
InFocus M2 features a smaller screen but with better resolution as compared to other two smartphones. It comes with a 4.2-inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels. Honor Bee and Canvas Spark feature 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and 4.7-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display respectively.
All the three handsets sport an 8 mega pixel rear camera. Honor Bee and Canvas Spark are equipped with a 2 mega pixel front facing camera while InFocus M2 sports an 8 mega pixel front facing camera with flash.
Internal memory on all the three smartphones is 8GB and they come with microSD card slot. Honor Bee and Canvas Spark feature expandability up to 32GB while InFocus M2 can support up to 64GB of expandable storage.
Battery & Connectivity
InFocus M2 features a bigger 2010 mAh battery followed by Micromax Canvas Spark with 2000 mAh battery and lastly the Honor Bee which is backed up by a 1730 mAh battery.
Connectivity options which these handsets offer include Dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
