Price $1,299 (approx Rs 95,300)

The HP Spectre Folio is priced in the US at $1,299 (approx Rs 95,300) for the base variant (with Intel Core i5 processor). A premium variant (with Intel Core i7 and an LTE chip) comes with a price tag of $1,499 (approx Rs 1,09,900). It comes in Bordeaux Burgundy and Cognac Brown color options.

The laptop is now available for pre-order via BestBuy.com and HP.com. The Cognac Brown color will be available from October 29. The Bordeaux Burgundy color option (with the 4K panel option) is expected to arrive in late December.

Additionally, the HP Spectre Folio Pouch and the HP Spectre Folio Sleeve will be available in November via HP.com at $49.99 (approx Rs 3,700) and $69.99 (approx Rs 5,100), respectively.

The HP Spectre Folio is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor (base model) along with Intel UHD Graphics 615 and up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. The premium variant of the notebook comes with an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor.

The new laptop runs 64-bit Windows 10 Home operating system out-of-the-box. It comes with 256GB/ 512GB/ 1TB/ 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage. For power backup, the new notebook ships with a 65W power adapter.

The HP Spectre Folio comes with a 100 percent genuine chrome-tanned leather casing. It sports a full-size island-style backlit keyboard and HP Imagepad with multi-touch gesture support. The new laptop sports a 13.3-inch IPS micro-edge WLED-backlit display panel with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution and a 178-degree wide-angle. There is also an option of a 4k panel.

In the camera department, the Spectre Folio sports an HP Wide Vision full-HD IR camera with dual array digital microphone. The audio is powered by Bang & Olufsen quad speakers with HP Audio Boost technology.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac (1×1), Bluetooth v4.2, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 (data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps) ports, 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, a microSD card reader, an Intel XMM 7560 LTE-Advanced Pro chip (only on the Intel Core i7 premium model), and a headphone/ microphone combo port.

Additionally, the premium variant comes with Gigabit-class 4G LTE support. Other features include support for digital pen and dual eSIM (with an optional Nano-SIM slot).
