The HP ZBook Studio G8, ZBook Power G8, and ZBook Fury G8 models will be available in select countries from July 2021. However, the company has not revealed the price as yet.

Specifications and Features

The new ZBook series laptops are powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and optional dedicated workstation graphics from Nvidia or AMD.

All three workstation laptops come with a 15.6-inch display. However, the ZBook Fury G8 also comes in a 17.3-inch display option.

The HP ZBook Studio G8, ZBook Power G8, and ZBook Fury G8 come with Windows 10, Ubuntu, FreeDOS, or Linux operating systems. Let’s take a closer look:

The new laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i9-11950H processor along with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM (clocked at 3,200MHz) and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage.

For graphics, the HP ZBook Studio G8 can be paired with up to an Nvidia RTX A5000 graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM or an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

The workstation laptop is backed by an 83Whr battery that can last up to nine hours and 30 minutes on a single charge.

The HP ZBook Studio G8 weighs 1.79kg. It comes in a single Turbo Silver colour option. The audio is handled by two tweeters and two woofers tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2×2), Bluetooth v5.0, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB Type-A port, and a headphone/ microphone combo jack.

The 15.6-inch OLED display comes with up to a 4K UHD (3,840×2,160 pixels) resolution, multitouch support, 400 nits of peak brightness, DisplayHDR 500 certification, 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

The new laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i9-11950H processor along with up to an Nvidia RTX A2000 GPU (4GB GDDR6 VRAM), up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, and up to 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD storage (expandable up to 2TB).

The HP ZBook Power G8 is also backed by an 83Whr battery. It weighs 1.89kg. For audio, the company has added dual stereo speakers.

Connectivity options include up to Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2×2), Bluetooth v5.0, a Thunderbolt 4 port, three USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone/ mic combo jack.

The new laptop is powered by an Intel Core i9-11950H/ Intel Xeon W-11955M processor along with Nvidia RTX A5000 (16GB RAM)/ AMD Radeon Pro W6600M (8GB) graphics.

The HP ZBook Fury G8 is backed by a 94Whr battery. For audio, it comes with dual stereo speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

Connectivity options include two USB Type-A ports, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio jack. Additionally, the 17.3-inch model comes with an extra USB Type-A port.

The HP ZBook Fury G8 features a 15.6-inch/ 17.3-inch IPS display with up to a 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

While the 15-inch model comes with 600 nits of peak brightness, the 17-inch model has 550 nits of peak brightness. The 15.6-inch model weighs 2.35kg, while the 17.3-inch model weighs 2.76kg.
