The new VR headset uses ‘foveated rendering’ technology that efficiently allocates the GPU power for better image rendering and sharper visual output. It uses eye movements for executing commands, which eliminates the need for controllers.

The native eye-tracking technology on the HTC Vive Pro Eye monitors eye movements to deliver a more immersive VR experience. The new feature is targeted at environments such as location-based entertainment or VR arcades.

Recently, the HTC Vive Focus Plus standalone VR headset went on sale with a price tag of $799 (approx Rs 50,000). It is now available in 25 countries.
