The Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro is priced at EUR 899 (approx Rs 78,000) and EUR 1,199 (approx Rs 1.04 lakh), respectively. Both devices come in Black, Green, Mystic Silver, White, and Yellow color options.

On other hand, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ comes with a starting price of EUR 1,399 (approx Rs 1.21 lakh). It is available in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options.

Additionally, the company has launched a Porsche Design Mate 40 RS (with 12GB RAM & 512GB storage) costs EUR 2,295 (approx Rs 1.99 lakh). It comes in a black and a white color option.

As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

The new smartphones are powered by Huawei Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E processors (eight cores, based on 5nm architecture).

The dual-SIM smartphones run the Android 10 operating system with EMUI 11.0 on top. Let’s take a closer look:

The new smartphone is powered by a Kirin 9000E processor along with 9GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.

The Huawei Mate 40 features a 6.5-inch OLED display with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,376 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 158.6 x 72.5 x 8.8mm and weighs 188 grams. A Vegan leather option has a thickness of 9.2mm and weighs 184 grams.

For photos and videos, the Huawei Mate 40 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP wide-angle lens (f/1.9), a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), and an 8MP telephoto lens (f/2.4). There is also a 13MP front camera with an f/2.4 wide-angle lens.

Sensors on the device include gesture sensor, gravity sensor, IR sensor, in-display fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, laser sensor, and a colour temperature sensor.

The new smartphone is powered by a Kirin 9000 processor along with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is backed by a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a 6.76-inch OLED display with full-HD+ (1,344 x 2,772 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro

In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 162.9 x 75.5 x 9.1mm and weighs 212 grams. A Vegan leather option has a thickness of 9.5mm.

For photos and videos, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP wide-angle lens (f/1.9), a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/1.8), and a 12MP telephoto lens (f/3.4). There is also a 13MP front camera with a 3D depth sensing camera.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro+

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ comes with similar specifications as the Mate 40 Pro. However, it comes with 12GB RAM and four rear cameras.

The new handset comes with an additional 8-megapixel SuperZoom camera with 10x optical zoom and f/4.4 aperture. There is also a 3D depth sensing camera on the back.

In terms of dimensions, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ measures 162.9 x 75.5 x 8.8mm and weighs 230 grams.
