The Huawei Nova 2 Lite is priced in the Philippines at PHP 9,990 (approx Rs 12,500). The new smartphone is currently up for pre-orders in the country. Sales start from March 23. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date or price.

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite sports a 5.99-inch IPS display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The new handset features an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite sports a metal unibody design. It measures 76.7 x 158.3 x 7.8mm and weighs 155 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Micro-USB port. The mid-range handset comes in two colour options – Black and Blue.

The new smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0s on top. It also comes with Face Unlock support and a fingerprint sensor. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

Huawei is planning to launch multiple devices in the coming weeks. The company is expected to launch its flagship P20 series smartphones on March 27. Several details of the three smartphones (Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 Lite) have already surfaced online.
