The new smartphone is the successor of the Infinix Note 5 (launched last year) and Infinix Note 5 Stylus. It comes with decent upgrades over its predecessors. This includes a better processor and camera.

The new handset is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor (12nm) and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 128GB).

The Infinix Note 6 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. It is touted to last up to 3-days on a single charge.

Camera

The smartphone sports a triple camera setup on the back. It uses a 16-megapixel primary autofocus sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Camera features include AR Emoji, Google Lens, Advanced Portrait, and AR Stickers.

For selfies and video calling, the Infinix Note 6 features a 16-megapixel front camera. Camera features include AI Beauty, 3D Face Beauty, Advanced AI Cam, and AR Emoji.

The Infinix Note 6 runs Android 9 Pie operating system with XOS 5.0 on top. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, Micro USB port, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.01 AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution. The highlight of the device is X Pen stylus support. A Stylus placeholder is located on the bottom edge.

The Infinix Note 6 sports traditional design with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.

Price and Availability

Price UGX 750,000 (approx Rs 13,900).

The Infinix Note 6 is currently available in several African countries. In Uganda, it is priced at UGX 750,000 (approx Rs 13,900).

The new handset comes in three color options – Aqua Blue, Midnight Black, and Mocha Brown. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.
