Intex launched the successor of Intex Aqua i5. This is a new update in Aqua series of Intex smartphones. The Intex Aqua i5 HD is priced at INR 9,990. The smartphone is available in the market now. The Aqua i5 HD comes in black and white colour. The Intex is offering 5GB of cloud storage with this device. The Intex Aqua i5 HD comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but Intex promised that it will roll out update of Android 4.4 Kitkat for this device.
Talking about the specifications of Intex Aqua i5 HD, it is a 5-inch HD display as name suggests. There is 1280*720pixel resolution display on the front. There is 1.3GHz quad core processor from MediaTek on board. There is 1GB RAM on board.
The Aqua i5 HD equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera on back along with LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel camera too at front for video calling and selfie. The Aqua i5 HD has 4GB internal storage along with up to 32GB memory card support.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone is a dual SIM smartphone along with WCDMA and GSM combination and dual standby. On the other hand there is 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as well. The smartphone has 2000mAh battery.

Expert Opinion
There is nothing new in this smartphone to talk about. In fact, we can see these specifications in other OEM’s smartphones too with same price tag. Every Indian company launching same type of smartphone with same specifications. The good thing in this smartphone, it is upgradable to Kitkat 4.4. One can test Kitkat under 10k price along with Moto E.
