The Lava Storm 5G is priced in India at Rs 13,499. However, it is currently available at a special introductory price tag of Rs. 11,999.

The new smartphone comes in Gale Green and Thunder Black colour options. It will be available for purchase from December 28.

The Lava Storm 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor along with 8GB RAM and up to 16GB virtual RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be expanded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the new handset sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, it features a 16MP front camera and a screen flash.

The Lava Storm 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It is said to offer up to 25 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Lava Storm 5G runs Android 13 OS. The company is promising an update to Android 14 OS and two years of security updates.

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPRS, OTG, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone measures 168.7 x 76.7 x 8.96mm and weighs 214 grams. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports a face unlock feature.

The 6.78-inch IPS 2.5D display comes with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a hole punch cutout.
