The new smartphone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Helio P22 processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The 3,500mAh battery comes with 10W fast charging support. The company claims that the new device offers up to 51.2 hours of talk time (4G), and 1,207 hours of standby time.
Camera
The Lava Z93 sports a dual-camera setup on the back. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 1.12µm pixel) with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and LED flash.
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports an 8-megapixel front camera with soft flash support. Camera features include AI Photo Studio, Professional Mode, Panorama, AR Sticker, and HDR Mode.

The Lava Z93 runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Star OS 5.1 on top. It comes with a new Smart AI Gaming Mode. The company has also partnered with Gameloft for an optimized experience for games like Asphalt and Modern Combat.
The handset sports a 6.22-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 295ppi. It also features a dewdrop-shaped notch. It measures 156.6 x 75.2 x 8.4mm and weighs 159.2 grams.
The dual-SIM smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro USB 2.0, USB OTG, and GPS as connectivity options. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
