Leading Chinese video streaming company LeTV launched its three new smartphones dubbed- the Le 1, Le 1Pro and Le Max earlier this week which are set to go on sale in China in the coming days. However, a recent report from TOI reveals that LeTV is planning to launch all the three devices in India as well. The LeTV’s Le smartphones are touted as world’s first phones to feature USB Type C-port. The handsets are likely to arrive in the Indian market by the end of this year. As for specifications, the Le 1 smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. Other specifications of the handset include 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels, 403 ppi) display, three storage variants- 16 GB/32 GB/ 64 GB, 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and OIS, 5-megapixel front facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.
The Le 1 Pro packs a 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440pixels, 538 ppi) display and comes powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. Based on storage, it will be available in two variants- 32 GB/64 GB. Other specs of the handset include 13 mega pixel rear camera with OIS, Sony IMX214 sensor, dual-LED flash, 4 ultrapixel front camera with IR filter and a 3000 mAh battery.
Le Max is a phablet featuring 6.33-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels, 464 ppi) display, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB/128 GB inbuilt storage, 21 mega pixel rear with OIS & IR filter, 4 ultrapixel front facing camera with IR filter and a 3400 mAh battery. All the three handsets run Android 5.0 OS wrapped under EUI and support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dual-SIM and IR Blaster as connectivity options. The devices also come with support for USB Type C port.

Pricing details of LeTV’s Le smartphones are:
- The 16 GB storage variant of Le 1 is priced at CNY 1499 (approximately Rs. 15,000), 32 GB at CNY 1599 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and 64 GB at CNY 1799 (approximately Rs. 18,000).
- The 32 GB storage variant of Le 1 Pro is priced at CNY 2499 (approximately Rs. 25,000) and 64 GB variant is priced at CNY 2699 (approximately Rs. 27,000).
- There is no word on pricing details of Le Max phone. All three handsets will launch in India by the end of year 2015 and Indian pricing details are likely to surface near to the launch. Stay tuned with us for more developments on this story!
