Meizu Pro 6 To Be Exclusively Powered By MediaTek Helio X25 SoC

Meizu is said to be working on its upcoming flagship smartphone, called the Meizu Pro 6. Rumors about its specifications and features have started making rounds over the internet. A report has surfaced online revealing that Meizu’s Pro 6 will be powered by MediaTek Helio X25 SoC.

At an event in China recently, MediaTek announced its deca-core Helio X20 processor. At the same event, Meizu CEO, Yongxiang BAI and MediaTek Vice President & Co-COO, Jeffrey Ju revealed that the Meizu Pro 6 will be exclusively powered by a deca-core Helio X25 chipset. The Helio X25 is said to be an upgraded version of deca-core Helio X20 SoC was co-developed with Mediatek and Meizu.

The Pro 6 is also rumored to house 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Another variant of the device featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory is also said to be in work. Rest of the specifications of the phone are not known as of now and are expected to surface in the coming days.

If this report is to be believed, then the Pro 6 will be a direct challenger to Vivo Xplay 5 Elite which also packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. You can read more about specifications and features of the Xplay 5 Elite here.

Price & Availability
